Creativity Test Engineering Students at MF3

One more proof that exists at the State University of Malang city event. This time it was the turn of the students of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Education dressmaking skill performance. This year, in order memeringati Malang Anniversary of the 96th Tour and visit the city of Malang in 2010, the Government of Malang City held a major event, namely Malang Flower and Fashion Festival (MF3).


Malang Events Flower and Fashion Festival is divided into two events which are equally citizens of Malang suck enthusiasm. The first is the design and fashion exhibition at the Mall of interest Olympic Garden (Mog) town of Malang on 1 to 3 April 2010. Dozens of flower fashion design drawings on display at the main entrance Mog, including UM's student dressmaking. Fashion exhibition held at the third floor of this mall also successfully attract the curiosity of the public. Various themed designs show creativity displayed interest students. Some sketches of costumes complete with the title emblazoned near the clothing. There are a wide variety of clothing that will be included in this Flower Festival. Amazingly, out of which 78 were included in the race fashion, 58 of whom belonged to Students University of Malang.

Entice: one model carnival
All clothing should be included on the student dressmaking UM no one using the original flower. Creativity of the students really tested in this competition. Besides fabric, some are even using recycled materials such as plastics and paper. However, with such simple materials the students were able menyulapnya dressmaking into beautiful and interesting fashion. Starting from the decoration on the head, until all accessories are included at the foot well by the students. In addition to the clothing worn on the body, the students also prepare various memercantik completeness for their design, such as robes flowers, flower arrangements, and sticks that are decorated with flowers windings.
Included in Malang Clothing and Fashion Festival Flower not only exhibited in the Mog, but also exhibited by the model directly in front of the public. Exactly on April 4, 2010, held the event continued from Malang Flower and Fashion Festival, the Flower and Fashion Carnival which was held along Jalan Ijen and Malang Olympic Garden ended in the Mall. The event was opened by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. Peni Suparto M. AP was regarded a success despite the progress in the rain. The model consists of male, female, or transgender success brought flowers with attractive fashion. It's a bit difficult for the committee in organizing the proceedings.
Asked about readiness, some students claimed to be proud and delighted to take part in this event the city level. "If next year is still given the chance, I want to follow him again," said Pauline, dressmaking student force in 2009, UM. According to its success following this event can not be separated from support lecturers, friends, and parents who provide a variety of support, both in terms of workmanship and material.
Jarti, UM students dressmaking class in 2009 added, made preparations to attend this event takes about three weeks. According to him, time is very minimal. Jarti statement was also shared by some other students who follow this competition. In working clothes, many students are willing to stay overtime to finish even a timely fashion. In addition costs are also not small. Fortunately, the Faculty provides assistance funds, although most of the funds expended are still borne by the student. Even so, he was satisfied with the results obtained from it and hope to follow this competition next year.
According to Dra. Endang Prahastuti M. Pd, dressmaking Education professor, Industrial Engineering, UM, there are a selection stage to get the 58 people who were included in the event of Malang Flower and Fashion Festival. He added that this activity is very positive because it can accommodate students' actualization and creativity.
